The number of child abuse consultation cases received at the three Child Guidance Centers in Hyogo Prefecture (Hyogo Prefecture, Kobe City and Akashi City) in FY2021 was 9,412 (5,804 in Hyogo Prefecture, 2,934 in Kobe City and 674 in Akashi City), a record high. In order to take all possible measures to ensure the safety of children, it is necessary to work closely with the police and respond quickly and appropriately.
For this reason, the three Child Guidance Centers in Hyogo Prefecture and the police will collaborate to conduct joint training on on-site investigations, on-site inspections and searches in accordance with the Law for the Prevention of Child Abuse (Child Abuse Prevention Law), as follows.
