Kobe Anpanman Children’s Museum & Mall Celebrates 10th Anniversary

　Kobe Anpanman Children’s Museum & Mall (1 Higashikawasaki-cho, Chuo-ku, Kobe; TEL 078-341-8855 ) will celebrate its 10th anniversary on April 19.

　The facility opened in 2013 as “a museum that fulfills children’s wishes to enter the world of Anpanman. In 2018, the “Baikin Secret Base,” a hands-on play space themed on “Baikinman,” was newly built as an annex to the museum in order to “bring fun to even more people.

　Starting on the 19th of this month, the museum will hold events and campaigns to commemorate the 10th anniversary, and children (one year and older) who enter the museum will receive a limited edition 10th anniversary acrylic keychain (will end when all the keychains are gone).

　On the 19th, a special concert by Dreaming, the singer of Anpanman’s theme song “Anpanman’s March,” will be held at the Yanase Takashi Theater on the 2nd floor of the museum. At “Mimi Sensei’s School,” a “10th Anniversary Crafts” event will be held until September 11, where visitors can make Anpanman masks wearing a captain’s hat.

　At the shopping mall on the 1st floor and the museum store on the 2nd floor, visitors will receive a coupon for every 1,000 yen spent on purchases and food and drinks. 8 coupons will be awarded for “Anpanman’s Big Gashapon,” a chance to win a Nikoniko Arm Ring, which is not for sale until June 11.

　Junko Manabe, the museum’s public relations manager, said, “Thanks to everyone’s support, we were able to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We hope visitors will enjoy our 10th anniversary campaign and events as a token of our gratitude to everyone who has supported us.

　The museum is open from 10:00 to 18:00. Museum admission (ages 1 and up) starts at 2,000 yen. Admission to the shopping mall is free.
