The Kobe Chamber Orchestra’s 158th Subscription Concert “Kaleidoscope of Viennese Classical Music” will be held at Kobe Bunka Hall (Chuo-ku, Kobe) on June 3.
The concert will feature “Symphony No. 8,” Beethoven’s playful return to the classical style, along with “Symphony No. 5,” which has an impressive classical style and elegant sound that seems to have inherited the spirit of Mozart, among Schubert’s symphonies.
Mozart’s “Bassoon Concerto” will be performed solo by bassoon virtuoso Hiroyuki Noguchi. The orchestra will be conducted by Hidemi Suzuki, the orchestra’s director.
