Anpanman Children’s Museum in Yokohama, Sendai, Nagoya, and Fukuoka has an annual water-based area, which will be opened for the first time in Kobe.
Located on the first floor in front of Anpanman Terrace Kobe, the area will feature a “Baikin Mecha” that sprays water in a 360-degree rotation, a “Surprise Bucket” that sends a large amount of water overhead, a fountain that shoots out from the floor, and mist, etc. Visitors will be able to play while wearing clothes. The area is open to visitors who have entered the Kobe Anpanman Children’s Museum (fee-paying area) on the day of the event.
Toshiko Okajima, the museum’s public relations manager, says, “We want people to enjoy playing while getting soaked to the skin as much as possible. It is also a good place for small children to make their water play debut,” she said.
The museum is open from 10:00 to 18:00 (last admission at 17:00). Admission is by advance reservation only, from 2,000 yen for children over 1 year old. Admission to the shopping mall is free and runs through September 11.
