On September 23, various events will be held at “Suma Beach” in Suma Ward, Kobe City, for children of elementary school age and older and their parents. Among them, advance application by August 31 is required to participate in the “seine netting experience.
This event will be held as part of the “Sumahama Project to Raise Children,” a nature experience learning program held in Suma Ward. Various events are held throughout the four seasons with the aim of having children learn about the natural environment of Suma Coast and feel attachment to the town of Suma and the Suma Coast.
After the “seine netting experience” held on the day of the event, there will be an explanation of the fish pulled up and a “touch pool”. At the end of the event, there will be a raffle to win the fish pulled out of the water (winners will be given a plastic bag with ice and fish, so please bring a cooling bag if necessary).
In addition, “outdoor experience events” and “action sports experience events” will also be held (advance reservations are required for the “seine netting experience”; other events can be attended without reservations). The western half of Suma Seaside Park and the lively facility “Pine Forest Village” are scheduled to open in September, when the event will be held.
