After-school
children’s clubs (after-school care for children) are provided for elementary school students whose parents work or whose adult family members are not at home after school for the purpose of supporting the balance between work and child-rearing and for the sound growth of children after school. Applications for new membership for the fiscal year 2024 will be accepted from November 1 (Wednesday), 2012.
Intensive Application for Admission to After-School Childcare Clubs in FY2024
Kobe City accepts all children who wish to use the after-school childcare services. In order to ensure the safety and security of the children, we have established a concentrated application period for new enrollments for the next school year.
Intensive application period:
Wednesday, November 1, 2023 to Friday, December 8, 2023
*Applications can be made after the above period, but we may not be able to provide the requested facility due to the number of children the facility can accommodate.
Eligible children
(1) Children whose parents or guardians are working or from similar families
(2) Children from families where there is no guardian (a person who takes care of children including parents or grandparents living together) during the day
(3) Children who can come to the children’s home from school or home alone and return home alone, and children who can defecate and eat by themselves
