On November 3, “JUMP FESTIVAL in KOBE 2023” will be held at the Ironman Plaza in Nagata-ku, Kobe, showcasing high jumpers in the city. Admission is free.
This event allows visitors to experience the powerful jumps of Olympians and high school athletes from a close distance that would normally be impossible to see. The high jump set will be set up at the foot of the giant monument of “Tetsujin 28-go” (Iron Man No. 28), which stands 18 meters high when upright, and athletes including Subaru Eto, who represented Japan in the high jump at the Rio Olympics and Tokyo Olympics, will perform passionate jumps.
During the competition, a DJ will provide detailed commentary to further enhance the enjoyment of the high jump.
Gourmet food stalls and kitchen cars will be set up at the venue to liven up the event.

It is rare to experience the high jump as an adult, but it is a great way to enjoy the jumps of Olympians. It might be a good idea to relive your school days while enjoying the jumps of the Olympians.
