The 3rd HOZUMI HASEGAWA CUP, a boxing event by amateurs, will be held on November 26 at ANNEX of Harbor Studio (Chuo-ku, Kobe).

Former world champion Hozumi Hasegawa and Akihiro Imada, vice president of the Hashiba-cho Dori Machizukuri Council, have teamed up for this boxing event, and the theme is “Re-Challenge. More than 60 amateur boxers over 20 years old who are engaged in boxing at gyms in the Kansai area are scheduled to participate on the day, and this time not only men but also women will be competing.
The second “HOZUMI HASEGAWA CUP” held at Meriken Park on April 23 this year was planned with the aim of enlivening gyms affected by the new Corona, and was attended by about 50 people engaged in boxing for fitness or as a hobby. About 3,000 spectators visited the venue in turn during the 6-hour event.

This year’s third event will include a two-minute, one-round sparring match between the event’s MVP winner and former world champion Hozumi Hasegawa in the final match of the day.
