The City of Kobe has heard from parents who have requested that their children attend elementary school earlier due to work or other circumstances. In order to examine how to respond to this issue, we will implement a model project of “early morning acceptance” at seven elementary schools in Kobe City.
Outline of the Model Project
Period:
From
Monday, September 2, 2024 to Friday, November 29, 2024 (scheduled)
(excluding Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, school holidays, etc.)
Target:
Children who have registered in advance (no grade restrictions)
How to spend time
: A
watchman will watch over the children until they start going to school. Children will spend their time quietly, reading or using computers for study, etc.
