Children’s Expo 2024 in Kobe” will be held at Kobe Harbor Land umie on September 21 and 22. The event is open to preschoolers through elementary school students, and admission is free (with some fees).
Currently, surveys have shown that Japanese children have less “ability to communicate their opinions” and “willingness to take on the unknown” than children in other countries, and local education and support are needed. In response to this situation, the “Kodomo Expo 2024 in Kobe” will be held with the aim of solving these issues by giving children confidence and inspiring hope for the future.
On the day of the event, a “Dream Speech Contest” will be held, in which elementary school students from all over Japan are invited to submit their “dreams” to be presented at the venue of the Children’s Expo, and a “Dream Picture Contest” in which preschool children’s “dream pictures” will be freely drawn and displayed at the event venue.
In addition, there will be “Work Experience Booths” where children can experience real work through programming, Youtuber, pastry chef, and other experiences, such as starting a business or developing a product with a company or store. The “Children’s Fair,” in which children become fair fair booth managers to serve customers and provide services.
In addition, there will be “stage performances” by local dance schools, yosakoi teams, local idols from Kobe, and other adults who have already achieved their dreams and are shining brightly, as well as presentations of children’s efforts.
