Kanefuku Mentaiko – “Mentai Park Kobe Sanda” Celebrates 10 Years in Business

Kanefuku is holding a special campaign until March 23 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of “Mentai Park Kobe Sanda” (Kita-ku, Kobe City), which is operated by Kanefuku Co.

Kanefuku, a long-established mentaiko manufacturer in Hakata (established in 1971) that operates Japan’s only theme park specializing in mentaiko, has been operating Mentai Park, which includes a tour gallery, food corner, and direct sales store, at six locations nationwide, with the desire to deliver its commitment to ingredients and passion for mentaiko making through food. Mentai Park Kobe Sanda is located in Kobe Sanda.

Mentai Park Kobe Sanda is located right off the Kobe Sanda Interchange on the Chugoku Expressway, and is a popular facility that can be enjoyed by everyone, from families and couples to adults and children, under the motto of “want to see, want to know, want to eat.

On the day of the commemorative ceremony, about 300 visitors attended the opening of a smoldered ball and enjoyed a commemorative photo session with local characters (such as Habatan). After the ceremony, the guests were presented with original goods and other commemorative gifts.

Until March 23, as a campaign to celebrate its 10th anniversary, the museum is offering discounts on familiar products, a lucky draw that can be participated in with each purchase amount, and gifts.

The museum features a “Factory Tour Gallery” where visitors can get a close-up look at mentaiko production, “Mentai Land,” a free admission kids’ corner where they can learn about mentaiko while having fun, a direct sales corner where “freshly made mentaiko” only available at the factory direct sales store is popular, and a food corner where visitors can enjoy mentaiko gourmet dishes. Mentai Park Kobe Sanda, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, is sure to be full of fun.
