Playing with Water in Front of the Station Seishin-Chuo “Plenty Plaza” Cools Both Children and Adults

Plenty Plaza” (Nishi Ward, Kobe City) is located right in front of Seishin-Chuo Station. Here, a cool spot where many children can have a great time is very popular!

It was a scorching hot day with a temperature of about 30 degrees Celsius. The adults were completely overwhelmed by the heat, but this is the spot where you can hear the happy voices of children saying “Kya~~” during this season. There is a water play spot near the “green roof,” a wavy awning, where children can play casually!

It is a little difficult to see in the photo, but water is flowing on the ground and a cool mist is emitted from the green roof! Since it was a weekday, there were not many children, so I decided to try it out.

When I put my feet in the water, it was not very cold, but it felt very nice! The lack of depth makes it safe for small children to play in.

Mist is emitted from the roof, so it feels cool to be nearby.

However, a change of clothes and a towel are a must! To protect yourself from the sun, you will want to bring a rash guard, hat, and other heat-protection items to enjoy the fun.

Water and mist are available from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily, so it would be nice to go early in the day or in the evening to avoid the midday heat.

The location right next to the station and the ability to enjoy a quick visit on the way to the shops is one of the main attractions of this place! I hope to spend a pleasant “cool” time in Seishinchuo this summer.
