The City of Kobe, in cooperation with universities, special training colleges, and other institutions of higher education in the city, is promoting initiatives aimed at the strategic acquisition, retention, and success of foreign students.
We are pleased to announce that the “AKI Kobe Career Forum®” and “DX Forum” will be held by the Kobe Gakuen Group.
1. Outline
The “AKI Kobe Career Forum®” and “DX Forum” were held last year as an event where excellent global human resources from Asia gather in Kobe to seek employment in Kobe. Last year, approximately 500 international students gathered and 30 companies, mainly from Kobe, exhibited their products and services.
This year’s “AKI Kobe Career Forum®” will bring together approximately 1,000 international students and Japanese university students, with approximately 40 companies participating and allowing them to freely visit booths of companies offering job opportunities. The event also features booths for higher education by universities, and is a must-see for all students who are interested in IT and DX.
The “DX Forum” will feature a special lecture by a special lecturer, Ms. Audrey Tang, Taiwan’s Minister of Digital Affairs, who will give a video lecture. In addition, a panel discussion will be held on the image of DX human resources required by society in the future. The event is packed with content suitable for those who want to work in IT and digital technology, regardless of their background in arts or sciences, in “Transformation of companies and organizations through the use of digital technology.
