Anevi Trim Park Kobe for Children to Enjoy Traditional Year-End and New Year’s Events

On December 28 and 29, the New Year’s Eve event “Mochi Pounding Contest – Kagamimochi Making” will be held at Aneby Trimpark KOBE, an interactive indoor park for parents and children located in Kobe Harbor Land umie. Participation is now being accepted.

The facility is an indoor park where children from 0 to 12 years old can enjoy playing according to their age and development. The park is equipped with a large playground complex designed by HAGS, Europe’s largest manufacturer of park facilities with a history of about 70 years in Scandinavian Sweden, based on the theme of “ships,” where children can move and play to their heart’s content. The museum is also equipped with playground equipment and toys for children of all ages, including a full-fledged pedal go-cart, a “play house marche” where children can enjoy shopping and playing shop, and a “building blocks and rails” play area with educational toys from around the world.
The “Mochi Pounding” event is designed to give children a chance to experience an authentic traditional event, and includes a free mochi pounding contest and a Kagamimochi (rice cake) making event (admission fee is required). Priority is given to those who make reservations in advance, but if space is available, participants can join the event on the day of the event.
The facility encourages families to participate, saying, “Please enjoy the experience of learning about the traditional way of spending New Year’s and food education, as well as the actual experience of how rice is replaced by rice cakes. ＜As
children grow up, their interests in toys change little by little, and you can feel your own child’s growth every time you visit the facility.
The facility is now accepting reservations for the “Fuku Pass,” which will be on sale from January 1, 2023. This is a special pass that allows unlimited play for one month from the date of purchase, regardless of weekdays or holidays, and may be perfect for use during the winter holidays.
