The “Scandinavian Music Festival from Japan: Scandinavian Christmas 2022” will be held at Kobe’s Xebec Hall (Chuo-ku, Kobe) on December 11. Tickets are now on sale online.
The Japanese performers, who are fascinated by Scandinavian music and have acquired its spirit and techniques, will perform “Scandinavian music grown in Japan” blended with Japan’s own careful and delicate sensibility.

The three domestic artists appearing in the concert are “Glänta,” “Drakskip,” and “Shanachie & Annikor. Each group will present their own original “Japanese Scandinavian music,” including traditional Swedish, Norwegian, and Finnish music, as well as original compositions.
Kardemimmit, a Finnish four-piece folk song band, will also appear as a guest and perform on the Finnish folk instrument, the kantele.
During the stage change and intermission, “INTERMISSION LIVE” will be held, in which members of each group will perform together in a special combination for this day only.
A “NORDIC MARKET” will also be held at the venue, selling Scandinavian Christmas products and Scandinavian-style works from Japan. <The
“Scandinavian sound born in Japan” has been nurtured by performers in Japan.
