A relaxing moment to gaze at the Christmas starry sky Bando Kobe Youth

The planetarium “Starry Sky Healing Christmas” will be held at the dome theater of Bando Kobe Science Museum for Youth (Chuo Ward, Kobe City) from December 2 to 25.

The starry sky from Christmas Eve to Christmas Day is introduced with exciting Christmas songs as background music.

Visitors can spend a relaxing moment listening to high-quality music from the dome sound system, which is capable of holding a full-scale live concert, while enjoying the star-filled sky projected on the 20-meter-diameter dome screen.

Santa Claus delivers presents to children around the world on Christmas night.
Everywhere he goes, there is music and star stories unique to each country. This is a program that puts you in the mood of Santa Claus and takes you on a tour of Christmas songs and star stories from around the world.
Relaxing Seats
The sofa-type “relaxing seats” (limited quantity), introduced for the first time in Kansai, offer a premium experience for couples and adults seeking a relaxing time.
The planetarium at the Youth Science Center faithfully reproduces the exact position, brightness, color differences, and even the fluttering of the approximately 9,000 fixed stars visible to the naked eye using an LED light source. The high-resolution images, about 8 times that of full high definition, are perhaps even more beautiful than the real starry sky!
