Everyone has dreamed of… Hiraki, the Kingdom of Super Cheap, has created a “Candy Hall of Fame”! Shoes

The largest confectionery hall in the region, “Hiraki Okashi Kan,” has opened in the annex of the Hiraki Iwaoka Store (Nishi Ward, Kobe City), a general discount store with one of the largest shoe sales floors in Japan.
On the weekend immediately after the opening, the store was crowded with families, and admission was restricted.
The approximately 85 tsubo sales floor is filled with approximately 2,100 items, including old-fashioned candy, local confections, and overseas sweets! It is a space that can be enjoyed by both children and adults.

Good products at lower prices than anywhere else! The store’s concept is “to deliver surprise, fun, and satisfaction to customers,” and it offers a wide variety of products, including not only shoes but also clothing, daily necessities, and foodstuffs.
With the voluntary restraint on going out due to the Corona disaster, the store decided to open the “Okashi Kan” at the former site of the annex and game center, hoping that “by expanding the lineup of snacks, we can make shopping more enjoyable for the whole family.
The Okashi-kan is not just a boring lineup of snacks, but also an exciting sales floor for visitors!

Inside the annex, visitors will find a retro Showa-era “candy store-style cage.
A wide variety of sweets are on display, including rusks made by “Mahoroba,” a Hyogo Prefecture manufacturer famous for its cream buns, and other items that can be purchased individually, as well as snacks for adults.
Local vegetables are sold at the
arcade connecting the main building and the food hall.
Fresh morning vegetables from local farmers in the neighborhood, such as those from Iwaoka, can be purchased at reasonable prices.
