On January 22, the closing event of Kobekkoland (Kobe City General Children’s Center), which is scheduled to be relocated to Wadamisaki, Hyogo Ward, in February 2023, will be held to mark the last day of operation of the current facility in Harborland, Kobe. Admission is free, and no advance reservations are required.
The day’s events will include a game rally by Mizuno Sports Service, a photo exhibition looking back on the museum’s 35-year history, and live performances of parent-child interaction games and songs with “Kabauma,” a duo of active male nursery school teachers.
Kobekko Land has a playroom where children can play on large playground equipment, a library room where children can read books and color, a modeling room where children can create with paper and various materials, and a music studio where children can freely play musical instruments such as drum sets, marimbas, and electric tones. The new location will be in Hyogo Ward, Hyogo Prefecture.
The new facility will be located in Wadamisaki, Hyogo Ward, and a pre-opening experience event for families with children under elementary school age is currently being planned and is available on the Kobe City event application website. Applications will be accepted until January 18, 2023, and in the event that there are too many applicants, a drawing will be held. <
At last, Kobekkoland in Harborland will be relocated.
To be honest, as someone who has been familiar with Kobekkoland since my own child was an infant, I am very sad to see it go, but I have high hopes for the new Kobekkoland!
I would like to say goodbye to the current facility for the last time with my child with a smile

my face.
