Kobe City: Night-time vaccinations available “without appointment” in Sannomiya to begin

As the outbreak of the Omicron strain continues, it is advisable for those who have completed the initial (1st and 2nd) vaccination (age 12 or older) to receive the Omicron strain-compatible bivalent vaccine as an additional vaccination in order to prevent infection and disease onset as well as to prevent serious illness.
In order to promote vaccination among the working generation, the City of Kobe has started a new “no-reservation” evening vaccination service at the Sannomiya Center Plaza 9th floor venue.

No-reservation” evening vaccinations will be available at the Sannomiya Center Plaza on the 9th floor.

Dates and times】】 Every Thursday except holidays in February
　Every Thursday, Friday and the day before national holidays in February: 18:30 – 20:30 (inoculation time)
(Thursday, February 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 22nd, 24th)

Vaccination Eligibility The Omicron strain (BA.4-5) vaccine from Pfizer Inc. will be used.
　Kobe citizens aged 12 or older and those who work or study in Kobe City
・Inoculation requires an “inoculation ticket” and “ID card (name, address, date of birth)”.
　In principle, those 15 years of age or younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

　Center Plaza, 9th floor (same as the Chuo Ward group vaccination site)

Approx. 20 persons/day
・ Accepted at the venue on a first-come, first-served basis.
　Regular advance reservations (20 slots) are also available. (Nighttime inoculations at the Center Plaza 9th floor will be accepted until the day before the inoculation.
*If the advance reservations are not filled, the inoculations will be added to the slots available at the venue on the day of the inoculation (without reservations).
