A New Kind of Walking Event – 105km round trip from Kobe to Akashi! The “2nd

The “2nd Kobe Akashi Ultra Walking 2023” walking event will be held on April 29 and 30. Participants are currently being recruited, and the event will close when it reaches its maximum capacity.

The theme of the event, which will be held for the second time following last year’s 2022 event, is “Kobe, an exotic port city.” Participants will walk a 105-km course to Akashi and back, passing through the bay area while enjoying the view of Rokko and Maya mountains.

Unlike conventional walking events where participants simply walk around tourist spots, this is a hybrid walking event that combines “walking” and “logging” to visit attractive spots in Kobe and Akashi, and couples, pairs, and solo participants are also welcome. The event is a round-trip walk from the exotic port city of Kobe to Akashi, a city of food, history, and the straits.

In preparation for the 105-km challenge of the main event, a trial walking event will be held for beginners, with the course divided into three 30-km segments each time for a total of three times. In collaboration with the running store “RUN JOURNEY KOBE,” trial walking shoes suitable for the course are also planned.
