On February 11, students of Kobe Women’s University will hold the “HARAeshiki” event in Taishi Town, Ibo County, aiming to “revitalize the local community and promote local children’s love for their hometown”.
Planned by Kobe Women’s University students
This event was planned mainly by Kobe Women’s University students who belong to the Himeji YMCA, which conducts activities in Taishi Town, Ibo-gun, to solve social issues. They decided to hold this event with the hope of “getting children interested in experiences and experiences in the great outdoors and making them fall in love with the hometown they were born and raised in even more.
What the students also noticed was that children were “turning away from festivals” even more. In addition to outdoor activities such as “pizza making” using a real pizza oven, “archery,” and “bouldering,” the event will also feature food stalls at the venue to provide a festival atmosphere.
A real pizza oven!
This event is open to children in Taishi-cho and is free of charge (must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and must apply in advance). <A word from the reporter>
Is the lack of festivals in the Corona Disaster one of the reasons why children are “turning away from festivals”? We hope that this event will help them regain their daily lives by creating fun memories and also give them a chance to cherish their hometowns.
