With the shift from “Phase III” to ”
Phase IV” of Hyogo Prefecture’s medical care delivery system from December 14, a total of 26 beds, including 13 at Nishi-Kobe Medical Center, 4 at Kobe University Hospital (including 2 critical care beds), and 9 at one other public hospital
, will be expanded to meet the needs of the prefecture’s medical care delivery system.
A total of 26 beds will be expanded. In addition, four private hospitals have offered to reduce the number of beds by a total of 16, resulting in an increase of 10 beds (including 2 critical care beds) to 408 beds (including 47 critical care beds) that can be accepted from December 15.
In the event of a shortage of beds, the number of beds will be temporarily expanded at public hospitals, and normal medical care will be restricted at the Municipal Hospital to secure a maximum of 463 beds (53 of which are critical care beds).
