The “Ancient Egyptian Civilization” exhibition will be held at the theater-style aquarium “átoa” in Chuo Ward, Kobe, from February 23 until June 12.
Experience the mysteries of the “Egyptian Civilization” in a fantastic space.
The event is supervised by Sakuji Yoshimura, a leading Japanese archaeologist who has studied the ancient Egyptian civilization. In the “PLANETS Zone” on the third floor, which is designed to resemble outer space, approximately 30 items are on display, including excavated artifacts, a replica of the Tutankhamen artifact, and a pyramid.
The artistry of ancient Egyptian civilization and the “AQUA UNIVERSE,” a laser performance interwoven with light and mist in a theater-style aquarium, are fused together beyond time. The exhibition is a fantastic experience unlike any other. In addition, music composed by Tatsuya Ishii of Yomei Club will be used in the exhibition.

In addition, goods and books related to the Ancient Egyptian Civilizations exhibition will be sold at the museum store on the first floor. Why not experience the message hidden in the mysterious cosmology and artistry? <A word from the reporter:
At first glance, “aquarium” and “Egyptian civilization” may seem to have nothing to do with each other, but the fantastic space of “átoa” and the “romance” of a civilization that becomes more mysterious the more you know about it are a perfect match
