On March 12, an event will be held at Kobe City Suma Seaside Aquarium (Suma Ward, Kobe City) where you can take a commemorative photo with a seal.
Up close and personal with seals!
This event is an opportunity to take pictures with “Mekabu,” a sargassum seal born in the aquarium in 2017, in front of a special panel, and was planned for the first time with the hope of “taking memorable pictures with seals” before the closing of the aquarium at the end of May.
The photo shoot is not conducted through glass, but up close and personal with the seals, making it a very powerful experience! The person in charge of the event says, “Children and adults can participate as a family, and we hope they will enjoy feeling the breath of the seals as they appear at close range.
Participants will also receive a cute badge!
Participants will also receive a “seal badge” as a special prize. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to get yours early if you want to be photographed! <A word from the reporter>
It’s amazing to be able to take pictures really up close and personal, and not just through glass! It will be a great opportunity for seal lovers and non-seal lovers alike to discover new attractions
