The “Oji Street Festival” will be held for the first time on April 1 in front of Hankyu Oji Koen Station (Nada-ku, Kobe). On the day of the festival, the area around the venue will be turned into a pedestrian paradise, where people can come and go as they please.
The event is organized by “NPO Wakuwaku Nishinada,” which was launched to enliven the Nishinada area of Kobe. Since the cherry blossoms will be in full bloom on the day of the event, the Tsuga River Cherry Blossom Festival will be held nearby, and Oji Park, a famous cherry blossom viewing spot, is also nearby, so visitors will be able to enjoy the scenery unique to this time of year.
On the day of the event, the “NPO Wakuwaku Nishinada” will have game stalls where you can enjoy touchdown passes, yo-yo scooping, and Senbon-drawing, as well as food and drink stalls set up by members of the Oji Park Station Shopping Association, where you can enjoy Nishinada’s gourmet food.
Local musicians will perform on a music stage to liven up the event. In addition, a total of eight types of face panels will be on display for commemorative photos to capture the memories of this fun event.
<Organizer’s Comments>
Despite the headwind of Corona, we were able to see the smiles of many customers and staff at the “Suidosuji Night Market Boulevard” for the first time in three years this September. We would like to spin “Wakuwaku Nishinada Monogatari” from Oji Park Ekimae Shopping Center, which has not been so publicized so far. All of us at Wakuwaku Nishinada look forward to welcoming you with a “smile”. <
An event for families to enjoy is held during the cherry blossom season! You will be able to enjoy games and gourmet food while feeling the spring weather.
