On June 17, “Soccer School for Elementary School Students” will be held at Kobe Ladies Football Center in Higashinada-ku, Kobe City. Participation is free of charge and advance application is required.
This soccer school is planned to provide an opportunity for children to become more familiar with sports and to have big dreams and hopes of becoming a representative player in Japan, by having top athletes teach children technical skills, the importance of teamwork, and appreciation for the people around them. The lecturers were from the WE League (Japanese women’s league).
The lecturers were players from INAC Kobe Leonessa, a local team in the WE League (Japan Women’s Professional Soccer League). The team entered the L-League in 2005 and was promoted to the first division within a year, winning its first title in the All Japan Women’s Soccer Championship (now the Empress Cup) in 2010 and its first league championship in 2011.
In September 2021, they became the first champions of the Japanese women’s professional soccer league “WE League,” which started in September 2021. On the day of the event, dribbling practice and mini-games are scheduled to take place. <A word from the reporter>
The opportunity to learn from professionals is precious! It will be a great opportunity to learn not only how to move, but also how to be mindful and conscious on a daily basis.
