The operation of residential treatment facilities for the purpose of isolation was terminated due to the lifting of behavioral restrictions for persons infected with new-type coronavirus after the shift to category 5 on May 8, 2023, and accommodation for the purpose of medical treatment until elderly persons requiring nursing care who need hospitalization can be admitted The “Nichii Kobe Port Island Center Accommodation Building” and the “Kobe Medicare Center Building, 6th floor” will be operated until the end of June as residential care facilities until the elderly requiring hospitalization can be admitted.
Since May 8, the bed utilization rate has remained between 10-20%, hospital admissions have been smooth, and there are no residents in the residential care facilities. As a result, the operation of the “Nichii Kobe Port Island Center Accommodation Building” will be terminated at the end of June as planned.
On the other hand, since the number of patients infected with the new corona has been on the increase recently, with a 20-30% increase compared to the previous week, according to fixed-point observations, the opening period of the “Kobe Medicare Center Building 6th Floor” will be extended until the end of September.
