Nesta Resort Kobe, an adventure theme park in the great outdoors that celebrated its 5th anniversary this year, will open “Mountain Buggy” on July 28, offering an authentic off-road experience using a real mountain as a “whole”.
The area, which boasts one of the largest scales in the Kansai region, uses a vast mountain as a course. Visitors can experience “conquering the whole mountain” while being surrounded 360 degrees by beautiful nature, including the “engine-breaking slope,” in which ATVs ride up a height difference equivalent to 13 stories of a building (about 40 meters), and down a powerful rock face.
The exhilarating feeling of running through the wonderful nature with your body exposed to the roar of the engine is appealing, and by shouting as loud as you can, you can release your body and mind.
There are two baby carriage courses to choose from: the “Climbing Tour (two-seater, driver’s license required),” a 2.25-km long course for advanced riders, and the “Hike & Ride (single-seater),” a beginner course where you can enjoy nature twice, once by hiking and once by baby carriage.
<A word from the reporter:
Expectations are high for this new activity on a grand scale. I’m going to shout as loud as I can in the midst of nature and relieve my daily stress!
