In order to let many people know about the “Changing Sannomiya,” Kobe City has been creating key visuals of the future of Sannomiya as part of its public relations activities, and posting the illustrations on the walls of nearby stores, temporary fences at construction sites, and various other spaces throughout the city.
This summer, the city will collaborate with the “Ice Pillar Objet”, a popular event in Sannomiya Center Street. In addition to the traditional water plants and goldfish icicles, original icicles with key visuals will be created and displayed.
It will be on view for two days only, July 30 and August 6, both from 10:00 a.m. to around 7:00 p.m. In conjunction with the exhibition, an original character in a Kobe tartan pattern dress will also be on display.
