Rally Road” to trace your footsteps
In an effort to create “summer memories,” a “playground” area with five themes has been established on a 4-hectare site located on a 400-meter-high mountain.
On the second floor of the observation rest house’s castle gate is the “Easy Fitness” area, where visitors can enjoy playing slackline, caroling (a sport game inspired by curling on ice), and basketball as if they were playing a game, and in the garden area is the “Rally Road,” where visitors can clear missions while following the marks (footprints). In the garden area, there is a “Rally Road” where visitors can complete missions by following footprints; a “Natural Therapy” area with hammocks, hammock chairs, wind chimes, etc. in the woodland path; a “Showa Toy Play” area under the waterfall patio with a blackboard, pokkuri, top spinning, ring toss, kendama, etc.; a “Foot Paddle Racing” (four-wheeled vehicle) area in the Kaze-no-Oka lawn; and a “Balance Road” (balance platform) in the Kaze-no-Oka lawn. The “Family Olympics” area will be located on the Kaze-no-Oka lawn, where visitors can play with a four-wheeler, a balance road, and playground equipment for rent.
At the craft corner on the first floor of the Glass House (11:00-17:00), visitors can make a paper craft of a rope-way piggy bank.
Yayoi Yoneya, the park’s public relations manager, said, “We have prepared about 30 play activities based on the themes of sports, fun, and relaxation for children and adults alike to enjoy for a whole day. Picnic tables and benches are set up throughout the park so that visitors can take a rest between games.
