Kobe Sanda Premium Outlets in Kita-ku, Kobe City, will hold a “Nostalgic Summer Festival” from August 11 to 13.
The outlet, modeled after the suburbs of Los Angeles, will feature a total of 11 booths with “Showa-era retro” games such as ring toss, smart ball, yo-yo fishing, and more. Children and adults alike can casually enjoy these games in between brand-name shopping.
There will also be a kitchen car selling familiar food stalls such as baby sponge cake, Turkish ice cream, and kebabs to fill up your stomach.
Other new features include the “Airport Slider,” a 7-meter-long, 5-meter-high balloon playground equipment that looks and sounds lively! Inside is a ball pool and slide that are very popular with children, allowing them to play to their heart’s content.
The person in charge of the festival says, “Please stop by the “Nostalgic Summer Festival,” where adults can feel nostalgia and children can play with great excitement, and have a memorable day.
<A word from the reporter>
It looks like a nice change of pace for children as they can play in between shopping! It is also nice that food is available.
