Overview
“The World of Mecha-Life” Exhibition is an event mainly planned and operated by students of universities and technical colleges in the Kansai region who belong to the Kansai Student Association of the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers in order to introduce the fascination of mechanical engineering to many people. Although the event is mainly aimed at early elementary school students, a wide range of children from preschoolers to junior high school students can enjoy the world of mechatronics through crafts and exhibits. In the crafts, children will experience the joy of making things by actually completing the crafts with their own hands. In addition, students will teach the principles and principles of mechanical engineering related to the crafts in an easy-to-understand manner. The exhibits include machinery deeply related to actual research at universities and technical colleges, so that visitors can learn about mechanical engineering research at universities up close and personal, and adults can enjoy the exhibits as well.
