The Bando Kobe Science Museum for Youth (Chuo-ku, Kobe) will hold the “The World of Mechanical Life 2023” exhibition on November 3 and 4.
The exhibition is planned and operated mainly by students of universities and technical colleges in the Kansai region who belong to the Kansai Student Association of the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME), with the aim of introducing the appeal of mechanical engineering to as many people as possible.
On the day of the exhibition, students from universities and technical colleges exhibited machinery related to their actual research, such as the “Sa Pronunciation Mechanism” and the “Stirling Engine. In addition, there will be craft booths, including a “balloon hovercraft,” where visitors can experience the fun of manufacturing and learn from students about the principles and principles of mechanical engineering related to workpieces.
The person in charge of the event comments, “We hope that this will be a good opportunity for visitors to become familiar with research in mechanical engineering at universities and other institutions.
