Let’s create wonderful memories surrounded by nature in deep autumn! Hyogo Prefectural

On October 21, “Awajishima Park Fun Festival” will be held at Hyogo Prefectural Awajishima Park in Kusumoto, Awaji City. Admission is free.

The park, which stretches over the hills in the northern part of Awaji Island, is a nature park boasting a vast site area of 134.8 hectares. The event is held with the aim of “enjoying a refreshing autumn day with the whole family in the midst of nature overflowing with greenery,” and after the Corona disaster, this will be the first time in four years.

The event will be held on the “big lawn” in the park’s Interaction Zone. The event will be held at a corner of the lawn, which boasts an area of 50,000 m2, and will feature a variety of events for both adults and children, including workshops for making craft goods using bamboo, herbs, nuts, and other materials, as well as yo-yo and super ball scooping stalls (some events will charge a fee).

Super ball scooping is very popular among children (as it was in 2019).

From 11:00 a.m., the +NUKUMORI Marche will also be held, selling sweets, vegetables, and miscellaneous goods produced by the Disability Welfare Service Office.

In addition, there will be an exhibition of emergency vehicles, which are rarely seen stopped, and emergency food for disaster prevention will be distributed.

Admission to the park is free. If coming by car, it is convenient to use the park’s parking lots F or E (both free of charge). In case of rain, the event will be cancelled.

The park is directly connected to the Awaji Highway Oasis, which is connected to the Awaji Service Area (up and down) of the Kobe-Awaji Naruto Expressway by a connecting road, making it very easy to access from outside the island. The event, which will be held under a clear autumn sky, is sure to be a fun and memorable one. Bring a packed lunch and enjoy the event with everyone.
