On November 18, “Work Experience Wakuwaku Land 2023” will be held at the Duo Kobe (Kobe City) event space, where visitors can actually experience and understand various occupations in a fun way. Admission is free.
Twenty-three various vocational schools and various schools in Hyogo Prefecture will participate in this event, which will provide an opportunity to think about future occupations through technical experiences and performance presentations.
Fourteen work experience booths will be available. These include a hair-arranging experience where visitors can experience the skills of a hair stylist, making stained glass and Christmas wreaths, making craft confections using marzipan, etc., as well as a programmer experience using AI technology, a drone simulator experience, e-sports taught by a professional gamer, and a variety of other digital-related experiences.
Stage events by senior students include a live post-recording show by the voice actor talent department and a bridal and BIG hair show “Japanese and Western” will be demonstrated and performed. There will also be an exhibition of works by seniors using techniques that can only be learned at a vocational school.
The person in charge of the event says, “We want students and their parents to know about the special training college widely. We also want students and their parents to feel free to consult with us about their career paths.
<A word from the reporter>
There are many things you can’t understand until you actually try them, so I hope the experience will give you a chance to find out what you want to do.
