Tamba no Mori Kouen Hall in Tamba City will host “Tamba no Daiku 2023” on Sunday, December 3.
This is the third year for the event, which started in 2021 under the slogan “Tamba, the City of Music. The original “Ninth of 30” was scaled up to a total of about 110 people, including the orchestra.
The orchestra was led by Ensemble Kobe, a well-known orchestra in Tamba City, and conducted by Masahiro Yano. The first part featured works by Handel, the “Mother of Music,” who is said to have greatly influenced Beethoven. The soloists of soprano and tenor will perform arias and the famous “Hallelujah” from “Messiah” with the addition of chorus.
All seats are unreserved, and tickets are available at “Yume Town Service Counter,” “Kasuga Cultural Hall,” and “Life Pia Ichijima.
Message from the person in charge: “The Ninth of Tamba is becoming an established winter tradition in Tamba. Please come and enjoy the powerful live performance to close out the year!
