Christmas Children’s Fishing Contest” at Hiraiso Sea Fishing Park, Kobe City

On December 24, “Christmas Children’s Fishing Tournament” will be held at Hiraiso Sea Fishing Park (Tarumi Ward, Kobe City). There is no charge to participate in the event, but a separate fishing fee is required.

The park’s fishing platform, which stretches 1,400 meters east to west facing the Seto Inland Sea, is fenced off at a height of 80 centimeters, allowing small children to enjoy fishing in peace. This year’s event is a competition for the size of the fish caught, and any type of fish can be entered as long as it is 10 cm or longer. The first place winner will receive a prize, and as a bonus, each participating child will receive a return ticket to the park that can be used until the end of March 2024.

The park is also currently running a weekday campaign offering free fishing and parking on weekdays until February 28, 2024 (except December 29 and January 2 and 3).
