Rokkosan Snow Park (Nada-ku, Kobe), which celebrates its 60th anniversary this season, will hold a special event “Sledigotatsu” on weekends and holidays starting December 23 at “Snowland,” a slope dedicated for snow sledding and snow play. Participation is free, but an admission fee is required.
The “Sledigotatsu” is a sled that fulfills the selfish dream of those who want to “stay in the kotatsu all the time but also want to play in the snow.” As the name suggests, this sled shaped like a “kotatsu” allows you to ride on the snow with your body under the kotatsu bedding.
Decorations such as “mandarin oranges piled in a basket” and “remote control” that might be found in an actual kotatsu have been applied to the top panel, and the sled has been carefully designed down to the smallest detail.
In addition, for children who have difficulty skiing alone, “sled Kotatsu” dedicated for taking pictures will be set up as a photo spot in “Snowland,” a dedicated slope for snow sledding and playing in the snow.
In addition to the “sledging kotatsu,” a variety of other “hot” themed events will be held this season.
On the main slope, there will be “macho wear,” muscle-shaped clothing that will make anyone look macho if they wear it, and “passion bibs” printed with hot messages of gratitude for the 60th anniversary by the staff.
Nabeyaki Udon” 1,400 yen (tax included)
The restaurant “Alpenrose” is currently holding popular events such as the “Hot Pot Fair” where you can enjoy the various hot pot menus being offered.
<A word from the reporter:
This is a rare and groundbreaking event in the history of mankind where you can ski while lounging in a kotatsu (a Japanese low table over a kotatsu)! You may not want to leave even after you finish skiing.
