Kobe City has announced that renewal work will begin on January 10 for “Koibito Cape” at the southwest end of the “Tarumi Sewage Treatment Plant Site” (Tarumi Ward, Kobe City). It is scheduled to be put into service at the end of March.
Located along the sea in Tarumi Ward, “Koibito Misaki” offers a great view of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge and Awaji Island on the other side of the strait, and is a hidden spot where lovers gather, as the name implies, to hang padlocks of love.
Due to its aging, the facility is now undergoing renewal work. The “observation stage” overlooking the spectacular view, benches, lighting fixtures, and padlocking fences will all be beautifully renewed.
<A word from the reporter>
It will be a beautiful, romantic, and comfortable place to spend the night! It is likely to attract more visitors.
