In order to eliminate gender bias and nurture the next generation of female science professionals, the “RICOCHARET Program for Junior High School Girls – Let’s Try a Drone” will be held for junior high school girls in Kobe City to encourage them to develop an interest in science and engineering fields and think about their own career paths.

Program Contents
The program is designed to increase junior high school girls’ interest in learning about science and engineering fields and career choices, and to expand the base of future female engineers and researchers through the experience of programming drones and actually operating them, and through talks and group work with women working in science-related companies.

Target
Junior high school girls (including self-identified students) living in Kobe City or attending junior high school in Kobe City
Number of applicants
20 people * If there are too many applications, a lottery will be held.
