In response to the Central Council for Education under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology’s report that it is necessary to establish a “Japanese-style school education in 2025” that draws out the potential of all children in upper secondary school education, the city’s municipal upper secondary school comprehensive course of study has also been established to foster the qualities and abilities needed in this rapidly changing age and to realize “individualized optimal learning” and “collaborative learning. In order to realize “collaborative learning,” we will promote the development of affiliations and distinctive educational activities.
In addition, we will change the testing method for admission by recommendation to one that can evaluate the examinee’s efforts and individuality at junior high school in accordance with the school policy and in line with the image of the student sought.
1. Educational activities to be promoted
・Active use of one terminal per student to support learning and individualized optimal learning.
We will provide opportunities to listen more widely to students’ opinions about school events and revisions of school rules, etc., and foster the formation of human relationships and a sense of self-usefulness through student-led initiatives.
