In order to alleviate traffic congestion near the toll booths on the Harbor Highway, which connects Port Island and Rokko Island and supports the logistics of the Port of Kobe, payment via the ETC system will be available from midnight on Monday, April 1, 2024.
In conjunction with the introduction of ETC, we would also like to inform you of the following changes.

way Harbor Highway runs from Port Island to Shinko Jetty, Shinko Higashi The Harbor Highway is a 10.5 km long road connecting Port Island to Rokko Island via Shinko Jetty, Shinko Higashi Wharf, and Maya Wharf.
The road was opened to traffic in February 1993 to facilitate smooth port logistics as a connecting road between Kobe Port’s wharves (port facilities).
The toll section runs from the Shinko Ramp to the Takaha Ramp, and also connects to the Hanshin Expressway No. 5 Wangan Route at Sumiyoshi Beach.
