Press Release (April 10, 2024)
General Affairs Division, Urban Affairs Bureau
Young employees of the Kobe City Urban Affairs Bureau worked in unison with students from Kobe Electronics College and young creators from Jesso Co. to produce a PR video.
Through the process of creating the video, they discussed the future of Kobe, what Kobe’s attractions are, and what its challenges are. Facing a declining population and an aging society with a declining birthrate, we aim to solve issues such as young people moving out at turning points in their lives with the thought that they will be responsible for Kobe’s future.
In addition, we produced a PR video for overseas in cooperation with foreign students studying in Kobe City, and we will focus our efforts on PR to other countries in preparation for the internationalization of Kobe Airport in 2030.
Highlights
① “I want to dream with this city feat. Enko Inoue ~078~”
The background music is provided by Enko Inoue, a singer-songwriter from Kobe, expressing the unchanged quality of Kobe’s cityscape (Shin-Nagata, Shioya, Nagaminezaka) and the new way of spending time in the renovated cityscape (Seishin-chuo). The exhibition is a new way to spend time in the renovated cityscape (Seishin-Chuo). We hope that visitors will rediscover the charm of Kobe and feel a sense of anticipation for the changes in the city.
2) ” Surrounded by the charms of the city, nature, and people”
The film expresses the unknown charms of Kobe (such as the stylishness of Kitanagasa-dori) from the cat’s point of view and includes dance scenes in which scenes change one after another and the number of participants increases at the Sankita Plaza and other reborn spots, expressing the beautiful cityscape and vibrant people of Kobe. The beautiful cityscape and the vibrant people of Kobe are expressed. We hope that people who are not familiar with Kobe will be interested in the city and think “Kobe looks interesting.
3) ” Which Kobe do you like?”
The diverse and attractive cityscape of Kobe was expressed through a romantic reality show-style video composition in which three men propose date plans with different tastes to a single woman. We hope that viewers will discover the “Kobe” that suits them best and be inspired to actually visit Kobe.
④ ” Thành phố Kobe, Nhật Bản 4k (Ultra HD) – Kobe” (in Vietnamese)
⑤ ” Kota Kobe, Jepang 4k (Ultra HD) – Kobe” (in Indonesian)
(“Kobe, Japan 4k (Ultra HD) -Kobe” in each language)
Under the theme of “Well-Being Tourism in Kobe,” we conducted a series of interviews with international students studying in the city and created a video that conveys the attractions of Kobe while familiarizing them with the culture of each country. Using graphics and animation, the video appeals to the compactness of Kobe and allows the viewer to visualize the actual itinerary of the trip. The video also includes narration in each language, so that viewers from overseas can learn more about Kobe.
