Press Release (April 17, 2024)
Sports Planning Division, Culture and Sports Bureau
In cooperation with INAC Kobe Leonessa (“INAC Kobe”), based in Kobe City, we have decided to hold a weekday soccer game as part of out-of-school learning programs for the purpose of increasing interest in sports and promoting women’s soccer, etc. The official WE League game will be held as a day game on a weekday, so that students can watch a soccer game as part of their field trip. In conjunction with this project, we will use our hometown tax payment to support transportation costs to Noevir Stadium Kobe, the venue of the game.
This will be a valuable opportunity for children to experience the importance of hard work and having dreams by watching the dedication of athletes. We look forward to receiving applications from educational institutions.
We hope that the children’s enthusiastic cheering will reach the players and staff as they work toward their second WE League championship in two seasons, following their victory in the Empress Cup.
