We met last January in a 150-year-old thatched old private house. The building next door is scheduled to open as a coworking facility in the summer.

Mr. and Mrs. Moriya purchased a 150-year-old thatched minka and renovated it to open a coffee shop. 18 years old, Moriya first encountered coffee and decided that “if I were to open a store, it would be in Nagao-machi, Kita-ku, Kobe,” and has been active in activities such as marche and coffee events.

They got hooked on coffee when they worked part-time at a café as students.

SPIN-OFF” means “behind the scenes” in addition to “derivation” and “by-product,” and the name of the store reflects the owner’s wish to “transmit various things with coffee as the main axis, and to let people know the back side of the coffee story.

The roasting machine that the owner is particular about is an official machine for roasting competitions.

The roasting machine introduced for the first time in Hyogo Prefecture is an official machine for roasting competitions that attract worldwide attention. Specialty coffee brewed with freshly roasted beans from this unique roasting machine is exceptional!

Currently, the only seating available for customers is on benches. The tranquil view you can see from here is relaxing!

There are 5 parking spaces in front of the river south of the Hokushin Ward Office Nagao Branch Office and 6 spaces in front of the store.

Hand-drip coffee (hot) 400 yen (tax included), apple juice (350 yen) is also on the drink menu.

For the time being, the shop is open only on weekends and holidays, as the owner has another job during the week. In the future, we plan to offer light meals and sweets, but for now we only sell drinks and coffee beans.
