Golden Week event “Mukashi Asobi de Time Travel 2024” will be held on May 6 at Hyogo Prefectural Hyogo-Tsu Museum (Hyogo Ward, Kobe City).
The Hyogo-Hyogo Tsu Museum is a new type of facility that combines two buildings: the museum facility “Hyogo-Hajimari-kan” and the “First Prefectural Office Building,” which is a restored building of the first Hyogo Prefectural Office.
The event, which will be held in the first Hyogo Prefectural Office Building, will feature a variety of old-time games such as ring toss, target practice, and smart ball, as well as “street storytelling” using original pictures from the Shiozaki Kamishibai Otogi Museum (Osaka), the only museum in Japan to preserve original picture-story show pictures, balloon art, live performances for children, and other events.
The event is a free admission day for the first prefectural government building, but a separate admission fee is required to visit the “Hyogo History Museum.
