KOBE Meriken Park May Festival 2024″ will be held at Meriken Park (Chuo Ward, Kobe City) from May 3 to 5 during Golden Week. Admission is free.
The event will feature a rugby experience and talk show with former Japanese rugby representative Daisuke Ohata, a “Strider – Enjoy Cup” running bike event for toddlers, and “Meriken Wonder Park,” where various marche and gourmet events will be held all in one place. The event will be a great fun for adults and children alike.

The “Rugby Experience with Daisuke Ohata and Kobe Fast Gyros” to be held on May 3 on the multipurpose lawn is open to everyone, regardless of whether they are adults, children, or beginners. During the talk show, Mr. Ohata and Kobe Fast Gyros players will enliven the audience with their rugby talk.
There will also be a “rock-paper-scissors” tournament where you can win Mr. Ohata’s autograph and rugby goods, and Kobe Fast Gyros team goods will be on sale.
Strider – Enjoy Cup,” to be held on May 4 and 5, is an event for children aged 1.5 to 6 years old, and will include a Strider test-ride and a trial race, among other programs.
At the “Meriken Wonder Park” site, which will be held throughout May 3-5, there will be a large gathering of events for families and friends to enjoy together, including “Wan Wan Marché,” “Handmade EXPO,” and “Gourmet Summit 2024 Spring.
