In order to improve the convenience of IC cards, the Kobe City Subway will introduce the Kobe City Subway Point Redemption Service, which grants points for ICOCA use in addition to a discount service for PiTaPa use (“Subway Subway Point Service”), which grants points for ICOCA use, will also be introduced.
In addition, sales of subway coupon tickets and city bus/subway NEW U-Line cards will be discontinued, and only IC cards will be sold for subway commuter passes.
Outline of Subway Point Service
(1) Service details
Points will be awarded based on the amount spent when a customer uses the ICOCA (*) registered for use at a station ticket vending machine more than a predetermined number of times on the same fare section of the subway.
z Points awarded will be redeemed by recharging the ICOCA at a station ticket vending machine from the middle of the following month.
z Once redeemed, the redeemed amount can be used as the recharged amount for After the points are redeemed, they can be used as the redeemed amount for boarding a train or for shopping.
z Linkage with point services provided by Hanshin Electric Railway (including Kobe Kosoku Line), Hankyu Electric Railway, Nose Electric Railway, Sanyo Electric Railway and Kobe Electric Railway.

(2) Scheduled introduction period
Start of registration: From the first train on December 1, 2024 (Sun.)
Start of point calculation: From the first train on or after December 1, 2024 (Sun.)
(3) Point types
Regular points | Points will be given to passengers who ride the same fare section 11 or more times per month, and 10% of the fare on the 11th and subsequent rides. |
Daytime points | z 10% of the fare from the 6th trip onward will be granted when you ride the same fare section more than 6 times a month between 10:00 and 16:00 or on Saturdays and Sundays. |
Weekend and Holiday Points | ã€20% of the fare on the 6th and subsequent rides on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays when you ride the same fare section more than 6 times per month. |

*Coupons for Kobe Electric Railway will also cease to be sold.
*Special discount coupon tickets for persons with disabilities will remain on sale.
*Special discount commuter passes for persons with disabilities, Keiro commuter passes, practical commuter passes, and some commuter passes for other companies will continue to be sold as magnetic commuter passes.
*Sale of city bus magnetic commuter passes will end on December 31, 2021.
