The 51st Rokko Family Festival will be held on June 1 at the Oji Athletic Field near Hankyu Oji Koen Station (Nada-ku, Kobe). Admission is free.
The first Rokko Family Festival was held in 1971, and this year marks the 51st holding of this popular event. The festival has been enjoyed by people of all ages for many years as a handmade festival by ward residents.
At the “Family Stage,” where citizens can participate, there will be a “Danjiri Parade,” cheerleading, samba, dances and performances, and folk songs performed by the “Nada-ku United Women’s Association.
In the Family Square, there will be “KOBELCO Sports Trial,” a woodworking class, mini games, Mayasan Curry and drinks will be sold.
Other planned events include a “Festival Stall” with 35 stalls, a “Recreation Corner” for children offering a variety of games, and a “Garage Sale Corner” selling clothes and sundries.
