Kobe City: Projection Mapping on Rokko Island in Summer

As part of the city’s efforts to realize its vision for the future of the city, which was formulated in February 2021, the city of Kobe has installed projection mapping equipment on the exterior wall of Kobe Fashion Plaza to enhance the residential environment and attract more visitors by providing more mechanisms to enjoy night time activities. The projection mapping equipment has been installed on the exterior walls of Kobe Fashion Plaza and started projecting images on April 26, 2024 (Friday).
Some of the projection contents are changed according to the season, and we are pleased to announce that we will start projecting new summer contents on June 28, 2024 (Friday).

1. Summer contents

On June 28 (Friday), restaurants will be open at the event plaza on the west side of the viewing area.
Please take this opportunity to come and enjoy the projection mapping while savoring delicious gourmet food.
Date & Time: Friday, June 28, 2024, 6:30pm – 9:30pm *Cancelled in case of rain, light rain will be fine
Location: Rokko Island Event Square (6-12 Naka, Koyo-cho, Higashinada-ku)
Contents: BBQ food, banana juice + Taiwanese food, craft beer, etc. (3 restaurants in total)

Every hour 00 minutes, 30 minutes – (3 minutes x 2 times)

* There may be times when no projection is made, such as during stormy weather.

Fairies appearing from the sun’s rays will bring a lively light to the summer season by adventuring through summery landscapes and Kobe’s famous landmarks. The theme is a fantasy world, and children will enjoy watching the show.

(Others) 19:00 – 21:30

(3) Projection Schedule

Every hour 00 minutes, 30 minutes – Seasonal contents (3 minutes x 2) (3 times) *The same video will be shown twice.
From 15 and 45 minutes every hour – Ocean contents (1 minute x twice) *Different creatures will be shown twice.
